WHAT'S NEW IN ATHENA 2024?
Cutting optimization
- The cutting optimization distributes profiles (2D projections, cross sections with length information and 3D bars) on bars to minimize waste.
- The optimization result is displayed for each item number in a new drawing. For each optimization level, a layout with a preset PDF output in DIN A4 or ANSI A (portrait format) is created in the drawing.
- At the appropriate point, we can load the stock of the profiles that we own.
- The stocks are used and included in the results.
Rename/copy block insertion
- New function for renaming and copying block insertions. You can select a block insertion and enter a new name in the dialog box that appears.
- You also have the option of applying the change to all selected blocks.
Sheet metal profile as an assembly
- Drawn sheet metal sections can now be selected as extruded profiles in the assembly editor.
- The assembly can be used in both 2D and 3D environments. In the video, our connecting piece is where the rod breaks.
Item number becomes part number
- The part number is created when parts are assigned to an order.
- The tag number is created when the same parts are recognized.
- Geometrically identical parts receive the same identification number.
- A position with the assigned tag number can therefore exist multiple times in a project, while the part number is unique and more of an ID
New dialog boxes
- Additional functions are provided by new dialog boxes in a new, tidy design.
- You can specify the desired dimensions of the object in any unit. They will be converted to drawing units when the part is created.
- The administrative functions have been moved to the top of the dialog for faster access.
